I applied for work January of 2020. The day I got my second interview, Covid changed everything. It was the day companies were furloughing people. A sweet acquaintance told me about Page Parkes Center for Modeling and Acting (PP) in Houston. While taking classes, I continued applying for work with no bites, but the best was yet to come. PP was one of the many things that propelled me into this new phase, preparing me for where I’ve landed today. There’s more to come! Meanwhile, enjoy!

[12:17] BTW, I mention that I was going to speak to my acting coach later in the evening. After I made the video, they confirmed something for me. Interestingly enough, later that evening, they mentioned helping students relax. They do an exercise where each student stands up and opens up about what makes them anxious about…whatever, then they must do the thing that scares them. Ironically, I do the same in the video. I almost didn’t upload this, but I believe it will make sense. By the end, all was well.
